Goleta Beach is a region of coastline located near Goleta, California, just east of the University of California, Santa Barbara campus. A portion of the shore of Goleta Bay is managed by the County of Santa Barbara as Goleta Beach County Park —GBCP. Goleta Beach receives approximately one and half million visitors annually (Mineiro). The Goleta Beach Park provides free parking, picnic and BBQ tables, beachside restaurants and kayaking rentals—all to help people relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Goleta Beach also provides scientific value because there is much ongoing research on the coastal regions of the UCSB Beach.
